Mission statement The mission of the 106th Rescue Wing/Francis S. Gabreski Airport Fire Department is to provide quality fire protection and related functions. This mission is in support of the Department of Defense, the United States Air Force and the New York Air National Guard. |
Organization The Fire Department has been established to provide fire protection and related services at the 106th Rescue Wing (NYANG), Francis S. Gabreski Airport and Abroad. The Fire Department organization consists of one federal technician Fire Chief, twenty-four MCA Fire Fighters and twenty-seven traditional New York Air National Guards Fire Fighters. |
